What’s Special About These Earrings:
Their quasi-minimalist look. So fresh, crisp and clean. Perfect for summer - for versatile all year round.
In the history of beads, as far as I know, these beads are incredibly rare - and no longer being made. I found them at Harman Importing in New York, back in the good olds days of the 1990s, when Harman had a shop on 37th Street. Before we all had cell phones!
These beads were strung on long strands hanging against a far wall. I bought all that I could afford, which was not nearly enough. I didn’t know that they’d work so well with my designs, so I was conservative. Months later, when I returned to Harman in person, these beads were sold out. For good reason!
How nicely their pale opal blue sheen complements the black and the white. If only all beads were this subtle!
