• Part of my “Silk Road” Necklace series - so called because it features beads from around the world, drawn from a collection I began forming 35 years ago…and have enjoyed for so long.

Designed with beads of glass, wood and sterling silver, from:

• Africa (Ghana)

• Europe (Czech Republic, Venice Italy)

• Indonesia (Java)

• The Middle East

Strung on:

• 3 strands of nylon-coated steel cable - the strongest stringing material on the market )as far as I know)

• If the necklace ever breaks (not likely with normal wear), invisible sterling crimps inside some of the beads ensure that long lengths will stay intact, reducing the chance of bead

  loss - and preserving your peace of mind. I take pride in this kind of quality constructions, even though it takes more time.

Finished with:

• A bright sterling silver lobster clasp, with a large oval ring at the opposite end.
