Oxidized Sterling Cable Neckwires

from 79.00

Over the years we've tried many kinds of neckwires. But the "Chris's Cables" shown here are the best. Made of oxidized sterling silver, they feature a tiny hook-and-eye clasp that will go through almost any beaded element or pendant.

The cables are designed and made by Christopher Hentz, a well-known American metalsmith as well as a professor of metalsmithing, who is based in Baton Rouge, LA.

Chris designed the sterling silver hook-and-eye clasp to be thin enough to to fit through narrow openings with ease. You may have to attach the clasp while looking in a mirror...or asking your live-in valet to help you. If you think the tiny hook and eye clasp will be too difficult for you, you might want to take a look at my Black Cable Neckwires with Incredibly Easy Press-Fit Clasps.

Handled with care, Chris's Cables last for many years. Once in a while, you should check to see that the loop that secures the hook to the cable is tightly closed. Be careful not to yank a beaded element across the end of the neckwire, lest the end fitting snap off.

For other cable styles, made of bright sterling silver, niobium or karat golds, please visit the Chris's Cables website.  Valerie offers only the oxidized sterling silver cables.

Please select your length below. The width for all cables is 1.5 mm.
